Welcome to Cameron Park ELC

More than just a childcare centre

For 20 years, CPELC has been more than just a childcare centre — we have been a second home where your family becomes part of ours. As a family owned and operated centre, we are incredibly proud to have spent two decades nurturing, inspiring, and growing alongside generations of children.

When you choose us, you are not just enrolling your child in an early learning program. You are joining a legacy of care built on trust, community, and deep commitment.

Our Philosophical Values

Four pillars that guide every day

At CPELC, our philosophy is built on four core pillars that guide our daily practice and reflect our commitment to your child’s early years.

01

Holistic Wellbeing & Belonging

We create a joyful, secure, and nurturing environment where every child feels seen, heard, understood, and nurtured to build a positive self-belief.

02

Cultural Diversity & Partnerships

We honour the Awabakal people as the traditional custodians of our land, while embracing and celebrating the diverse cultures, beliefs, and languages of all our families that enrich our community.

03

Capable Learners & Play

We view children as capable, competent, and powerful beings, fostering their learning, curiosity, imagination and thinking through unhurried, purposeful play in rich natural environments.

We recognise the potential of all learners and provide an empowering environment that encourages agency, self-expression and resilience.

04

Intentional & Reflective Teaching

Our educators act as curious researchers, continually reflecting on and adapting their practices to deliver an inquiry-based curriculum aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework. We view children and adults as both teachers and learners who actively participate in collaborative learning to challenge thinking, engage, and create new understanding of the world.

Programs & age groups

Three buildings, one continuous journey

Spanning three separate buildings — nursery, toddlers and preschool — CPELC caters for 150 children per day, from 6 weeks to 6 years of age.

Nursery · 0–2 years

A sanctuary of warmth and gentle care across our Rainbow, Silver and Yellow Rooms, where babies build the trusted, secure attachments that form the foundation for all learning.

Toddlers

Our Purple and Blue Rooms celebrate a toddler’s drive for independence, with play that is physical, purposeful and driven by curious investigation.

Preschool

Our service follows the Early Years Learning Framework and runs a full preschool program, so your child can complete their entire early years journey at CPELC.

Unique to CPELC

Innovative spaces and dedicated rooms

Innovatively designed spaces and dedicated rooms for therapy and community development sit at the heart of the centre — features unique to our service that enrich the early childhood experience for children, families, and professionals alike.

Sensory Therapy Room

A dedicated space carefully designed with tactile, visual, and calming elements to support children’s diverse emotional and physiological well-being needs.

Community Space

A collaborative hub designed to bring educators, families, and early childhood practitioners together for ongoing research, educational workshops, and shared community consultation.

Eco-Friendly Classrooms

Modern internal learning spaces configured to maximise natural light and airflow, seamless transition between indoors and out and thoughtfully presented with rich open-ended resources to inspire creativity and empower children as they learn and explore.

Preschool Dining Room

A purpose-built space, separate from the play areas, that serves as a shared place for our preschoolers to come together, connect, and enjoy delicious, wholesome food.

Acknowledgement of Country

We gather, play, and learn on the lands of the Awabakal people. We pay our deepest respects to Elders past, present, and emerging. We promise to look after the land, the animals, and the waters, just as the Awabakal people have for tens of thousands of years. This always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.
